1950's Murder Mystery Dinner Party Game for 6-8 players

It's 1953, Britain is still recovering from the Second World War. But the troops have come home, Winston Churchill is Prime Minister again and the people are looking forward to a brighter future, starting with the coronation of a new young Queen. Meanwhile, America is facing up to the Soviet Union, the Korean War is under way and there's much talk of enemy spy rings and safeguarding the country's secrets. At the MI7 Safe House in leafy Kensington its business as usual, there's a mixed bag of house guests all here for different security reasons. All pretty normal until one of them, MI7 officer Sir Owen Detts, is discovered murdered in the study, shot through the head. 


One of you staying at the Safe House must have done the deed. But who, and why? One thing is clear. Apprehending the murderer is a matter of urgent national importance. It's up to you to find out 'whodunit,' for the sake of the free world....

This is an original murder mystery game supplied by email as ready to print Microsoft Word pdf files.  The immersive game has interesting plot lines and plenty to keep players guessing right until the very end.  Running time is 1½ - 2 hours. 


The files supplied will print character booklets for your guests, invitations, party setup instructions, name tags, various evidence, a choice of murder confessions, wartime menus and lots of extras to turn your venue into the MI7 safe house crime scene. 


You will need 65+ sheets of printer paper, a stapler, and maybe some sticky stuff for labels (Pritt stick?)

Aria Grossemunde (F):

You are a Diva of the opera, used to having your demands met and getting your own way. But having defected to the British, you are now a refugee in a strange land, coming to terms with a very different way of life. And there's the Stasi Secret Police, they're out there somewhere  - looking for you....

Arthur Underhand (M): 

A businessman of the ducking and diving variety, you are not shy in coming forward, always on the lookout for the next money making deal. Legal or illegal, you're not that fussy...

Dee Lightful (F): 

You are a woman trying to make it big in a man's world. Sometimes it feels like swimming against the tide. But you're going to make it, by hook or by crook....

Perry Stroika (M): 

An absent minded academic professor type, you're more interested in understanding how the Solar System works than what's going on around you in the real world. But reality is about to catch up with you....

Wanda Betajob (F): 

A hard working employee of the Ministry of Defence, you are the Landlady at the safe house. Lummy, what a responsibility! So many people coming through your door, all with their wants and fancies, you do your best to keep all of them in line....

Sheikh Yurmani Barmiami (M): 

Part of the ruling family of Despotica, you are heavily involved with the running of the oil rich Middle Eastern Kingdom, used to people jumping to do your bidding. Sent to London to attend the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, you have made sure to allocate time for some private affairs....
