1960's Murder Mystery Dinner Party Game for 10-12 players
It's the swinging 60's. The Weevils, a pop group with a new sound has taken the world by storm. Mobbed by enthusiastic fans, their records are selling by the million. Following a successful international tour, the Weevils have returned to their private English country estate, to put the finishing touches on their much anticipated new long play album. A lot is riding on this record, there are those saying the Weevils are past their prime, other groups have taken their place at the cutting edge of the music industry. So far, things have gone well but then....
After a party to celebrate their latest single reaching number one in the charts, one of the party goers, guitarist Jimi Bendix, is discovered dead in his room, a bloodied hammer by his side.
One of the party goers must have done the deed. But who, and why? One thing is clear. Calling in the police and the ensuing scandal will force the record company to withdraw the Weevils recording contract and cancel the record launch. That will be the end of the Weevils. It's up to you, the party goers, to take part in an investigation and decide which of you has done the deed and why. Save the Weevils!
This is an original murder mystery game supplied by email as ready to print Microsoft Word pdf files. The immersive game has interesting plot lines to keep players guessing 'whodunit' right until the very end. Running time is 1½ - 2 hours.
The files supplied will print character booklet scripts for your guests, invitations, setup instructions, name tags, documents, various evidence, and a choice of two murder confessions.
You will need 65+ sheets of printer paper and a stapler.

John Mellon (M):
The Weevils rhythm guitarist. You started the Weevils, conceived the name, and brought in the other members. You are the founder and leader of the group, eight days a week, surely you know best...
George Garrison (M):
Lead guitarist with the Weevils. Baby, you’re a rich man with the Weevils, but something tells you all things must pass. You’ll do anything to keep the Weevils together.
Bingo Starkers (M):
The Weevils drummer. Life is a gas, man. A non stop run of press calls, photo-shoots and sell out concerts. Nothing can be allowed to threaten your ticket to ride...
Ronnie Ripoff (M/F):
The Weevils manager. Managing a pop group is like driving a Rolls Royce too near to the road edge. One false move and you’ll find yourself in the gutter.
Billie Bright (M/F):
A Hell’s Angels biker, you are in charge of the Weevils security at Cleevedon. Nothing goes wrong on your watch. Unless you want it to, that is.
Loko Yono (F):
A strong willed American lady, heavy into surrealism and modern art, the Weevils don’t know what to make of you. Which is just as well as you have your own ideas for the group.
Lucy Diamond (F):
This lady documentary film maker’s been there, seen it, done it and got the T-shirt. What does she want from the Weevils?
Mary Quaint (F):
A swinging sixties fashion designer, this jet-setting lady needs the Weevils help to save her from crashing to the ground, but what if they don’t want to help?
Branny Faddock (F):
The housekeeper who looks after the Weevils Cleevedon estate, Branny has her fingers in a lot of pies, but this time she may have bitten off more than she can chew.
