Countess von Spitzenshein, if you please! You are travelling on the orders of Emperor Franz-Josef himself (Emperor of the Austro-Hungarian Empire). You see London as quaintly provincial. How can it compare with your incomparable Vienna - its palaces, music and cafe society? And its intrigues...

You are one of London's many hansom cab drivers, out in all weathers, doing your level best to secure the most fares you can in a day. It ain't easy on the roads these days - but beggars can't be choosers - you have to take all hailers. They can't all be toffs on the way home from the theatre...
Inspector Lestrade (M):
One of Scotland Yard's first detectives, you do your best to solve the many crimes in your district. Not easy with the rudimentary country bumpkins you have to work with - even if they are kitted out in a police uniform.
